Henry remained in Fourways mall for fourteen years but was forced to move from this location by the emergence of newer, more stylish locations where his target audience was more readily available.
Hence the Henry Taylor Gallery found a new home at the Design Quarter and became more of a destination gallery thanks to the larger premise.
The gallery also featured approximately 60% more Old Masters and of a greater range that now included black Old Masters.
It was here that the gallery also began dabbling with foreign contemporary artists such as Claire Denarie, which proved to be a very wise business decision.
After four wonderful years, in keeping with our core target market of higher income buyers the gallery relocated once more to its present home of Cedar Square.
